Located on the side of a beautiful canal, this restaurant is a must-do if you are visiting Amsterdam. We had a glass of Burgundy Cremant to start which was very good and decided on the Chef’s Surprise Menu @ €37 for three courses. It changes every day & you need only choose ‘fish, meat or vegetarian’ We chose the meat menu and ordered a bottle of 2013 Crozes Hermitage (Rhône Syrah) at €34 which turned out to be one of the best bottles of European Shiraz I’ve tasted – yummy!The food, prepared by Eric Zonjee? who is inspired by Paul Becuse, was fantastic, perfectly balanced and a delight! The service was impeccable and unobtrusive and the ambiance was relaxed and comfortable.
